Nova Nexus
Nova Nexus is known as the Capital of the Galaxy and the Jewel of the Cosmos. It is a monumental artificial structure featuring a central sphere that simulates a sky and three immense rotating rings.
1. Arrival: Entering the Capital
When you set course for Nova Nexus, your ship will be intercepted by local authorities.
-
The Interception: Agent Caden will contact you because your ship is unregistered. Chip will use your voice to provide fake accreditations (a MK IV Explorer ship from Pangea).
-
Contraband Scan: The operator will scan your cargo bay. If you have contraband, this could be an issue, though Chip jokes about them keeping a box of cookies.
-
Docking: Because your ship officially belongs to the "Sanctuary" ring, Agent Caden will advise you to make your first stop there.
2. Exploring the Rings
Nova Nexus is divided into massive rings, each serving a different purpose and population. You can access these areas via the "Rings" menu.
A. Sanctuary
The Sanctuary ring is pristine, snowy, and highly automated, featuring gravity-defying architecture surrounded by lush gardens.
-
New Life Clinic: Here, you can interact with a floating robot sphere to access high-end medical and genetic services.
-
Genetic Modifications: Costs 10,000 credits. The injection takes 5 hours to take effect.
-
Healing Services: You can use a hyperbaric chamber. It costs 1,000 credits to heal wounds, while curing diseases ranges from 5,000 to 100,000 credits (though special treatments cost up to 500,000 credits). The chamber restores all wounds and energy, and completely removes your libido in 10 minutes.
-
-
Neutron Terminal: You can interact with "Neutron," a semi-transparent blue holographic virtual assistant.
Hiring Wendall & Jumba
While at the New Life facility, you will witness a dramatic firing.
-
The Incident: A Grikari administrator fires Wendall (a four-eyed Ithren trauma surgeon) and Jumba (a massive Toranite critical care specialist) for using restricted compounds to save an unauthorized refugee.
-
The Choice: You can "Let them pass" or "Hire them".
-
Negotiation: If you choose to hire them, you must negotiate their salary. Wendall initially demands 100,000 credits each. You can haggle them down to 25,000 credits each.
-
Infirmary Tour: Once hired, you bring them to the ship where they immediately clash egos with Arthur, the ship's geneticist.
B. The Confinement
The Confinement is a chaotic, industrial sector. The streets are narrow, filled with surveillance drones, neon signs in dead Earth languages, brothels, and black market clinics.
Keirys's Goods (Smuggling)
If you are doing a job for Keirys, you can visit the industrial docks here.
-
The Pickup: You provide the code "876-VXK3" to a gaunt alien dockworker. Androids will load massive, person-sized crates onto your ship.
-
Hacking the Manifest: Chip can hack the worker's datapad. He discovers the crates are from the Ionis Detention Facility (a maximum-security prison) and contain bodies in cryogenic chambers.
-
The Decision: You can decide to take the frozen assassins to Akra to figure out what to do with them.
Diego's Apartment (Meta-Human Neighborhood)
Diego Cortés, the owner of a massive sex toy empire, lives in a building that looks like a chaotic stack of shipping containers (unit D-789 on level 53). The exterior is a facade hiding a luxurious interior.
-
The Submissive Route:
-
The Entrance: When you arrive, the door opens automatically, and you are compelled to crawl into the apartment on all fours.
-
The Android: You discover Diego with an "Adonis 9000" companion android prototype. He used it to make you jealous.
-
The Punishment: Because you arrived late (making him wait three days), Diego will order you to bend over the silk bed. He will strike you ten times with his leather belt.
-
The Dismissal: After the punishment, he will abruptly dismiss you. If you try to leave, he will pin you against the wall, kiss you aggressively, and demand you never walk away without permission.
-
C. The Primordial Conclave
(Note: Content for this area is currently marked as "WIP" in the game files, though a Neutron virtual assistant terminal is available here).
