Snake

Snake is a human smuggler operating in the criminal underworld of Sithyrya and Akra. He is a cynical and opportunistic, but ultimately pragmatic, survivor.

Role in the Story

Snake is a key character in the early stages of the game on Sithyrya, providing the player with the [Leave Kavhar](./Leave Kavhar.md) side quest. He later offers another smuggling mission.

Meeting Snake

• Location: The Seedy Bar, Kavhar, Sithyrya (at night).
• Trigger: You will meet Snake while exploring Kavhar at night as part of the main quest to find a way to leave the city.
• Event: Snake will be in a tense negotiation with the bartender, Gravel, over an unpaid debt. You can intervene and offer to help Snake, which will begin his questline.

Leave Kavhar

• Objective: Work with Snake to find a way to get past the guards and leave the city of Kavhar.
• Tasks: ** After your initial meeting, you must return to your ship, where you will be stopped by guards. ** Return to Snake at the Seedy Bar. He will ask you to procure a large amount of food rations from Akra to use as a bribe for the guards. ** Travel to Akra, get the rations from the "Grosseries" shop, and return to Snake. He will then use the rations to bribe the guards, allowing you to leave Kavhar.

Smuggle Rattlesnake

• Objective: After completing the "Leave Kavhar" quest, Snake will offer you a more lucrative and dangerous job: smuggling a large quantity of a drug called "Rattlesnake".
• Tasks: ** Meet Snake at your ship, where he will load the cargo. ** Once in space, you have several choices: *** Complete the job: Deliver the drugs to Galiano's mafia on Akra for a large reward. *** Keep the drugs: You can choose to keep the Rattlesnake for yourself. *** Destroy the cargo: You can jettison the drugs into space.

Personality

Snake is a hardened criminal who has learned to survive in a harsh galaxy. He is sarcastic, untrusting, and always looking for an angle to profit from. Despite his rough exterior, he can show a softer, more vulnerable side, and it is possible to build a friendship or even a romantic relationship with him.

Fun Scenes & Interactions

• The Kiss:
• Trigger: During the "Smuggle Rattlesnake" quest, while Snake is on your ship, you will have an opportunity to get close to him.
• Fun Scene: A dialogue choice will appear to "Kiss him". This will trigger a romantic scene that can lead to a sexual encounter, with variations for dominant and submissive players.
• The Ambush:
• Trigger: A random event that can occur while wandering Kavhar at night.
• Fun Scene: Snake may ambush you in an alley. If you are a dominant character, you can turn the tables on him. If you are submissive, he will overpower you and steal a kiss.
