Urukai

Urukai Walkthrough Guide

Urukai is a peaceful planet characterized by its purple grasslands and bio-luminescent cities. It is the home of the Uruk species (like Katari) and plays a key role in the "Find the Praharma of Urukai" questline.

1. Arrival: The Whispering Plains

When you first land on Urukai, you arrive at the Whispering Plains.

  • First Visit Event:

    • You will step out into the vast fields of purple grass.
    • Katari's Return: If Katari is in your crew, a scene triggers where he becomes emotional about returning home. He will then leave to explore the city of Aethergald.
    • Arthur's Research: If Arthur is free (not anchored in the lab) and you know his identity, he will leave to visit the Ofanna Wildlife Reserve to study the local flora.
  • The "Hiccup" (Main Quest Progression):

    • Requirement: You must have defeated Arihama/The Warlord to trigger the "Praharmas" search questline.
    • Event: While in the plains, you will sense a sudden, jarring absence of the planet's peaceful aura—a "hiccup" or void and officially starts the search for the Praharma on this planet.

2. The Stone Loom Mountains

After sensing the disturbance in the plains, you should head to the mountains.

  • Unlock: This location appears on the main Urukai menu after the initial discovery scene.
  • The Shockwave: Upon your first approach, you will feel a violent psychic scream/shockwave coming from the mountain.
  • Meeting Bror: You encounter Bror, a two-armed Uruk foreman. He warns you that the "Heart of the Stone" has woken up and is screaming in agony. He urges you to leave, but you can offer to help.

3. The Stone Loom Mines

Enter the mines from the Loom Mountains menu to find the source of the disturbance.

  • Exploration: You can "Wander around" to trigger various events:

    • Mining: If you have the Thauselite Pickaxe (crafted by Alastor), you can mine Aether-Lattice from pure veins.
    • Atmosphere: Various events describe the glowing crystals and the eerie beauty of the mines.
  • The Heart Chamber (Boss Encounter):

    • Keep wandering until you trigger the event.
    • The Reveal: You find a massive stone that cracks open to reveal it is actually a biological-mineral hybrid monster.
    • Combat: You must fight the Shard Crawler.
      • Note: If you return later, this event is repeatable as until the "Wind" problem is solved.

4. Aethergald

After dealing with the events in the mines, head to the city of Aethergald.

  • First Visit: A description of the city's organic, crystal-like architecture and geothermal energy.

  • The Argument (Quest Progression):

    • Requirement: You must have felt the "Hiccup" in the plains.
    • Event: You witness two Uruk artisans arguing. A sudden warm breeze stops them, and they apologize to each other, mentioning the "Wind".
  • Meeting Katari:

    • Requirement: Katari must be in your crew.
    • Event: Wander around Aethergald to find Katari admiring a living street lamp. He expresses his gratitude for bringing him home and shares his fascination with Uruk culture.
  • The Invitation:

    • Requirement: You must have confronted the Heart of the Stone/Shard Crawler in the mines.
    • Event: Wander in Aethergald. An acolyte named Lyren will approach you. They inform you that a runner from the mines brought news of your interaction with the "Heart of the Stone". You are formally invited to meet the Shaman.

5. The Shaman (Q'Lan)

Once you have the invitation, a new option appears in the Aethergald menu.

  • Meeting Q'Lan:
    • Select "Shaman" from the menu.
    • Enter the massive living tree dwelling to meet Q'Lan, the six-armed Shaman.
    • He acknowledges your feat in the mountains and thanks you for calming the rage of the Heart of the Stone.
    • Reward: This interaction unlocks the ability to ask Q'Lan questions, which is essential for learning about the Praharmas and the "Wind".

6. Katari's Date (Romance)

There is a specific romantic event available on Urukai for Katari.

  • Requirements:
    • Katari must be in a romantic/sexual mood.
    • You must have visited Urukai at least 3 times.
    • You must not have done this event before.
  • Event: This triggers the scene upon arriving at the main Urukai screen.
